Shrub Oak resident Sean Deleon, 23, was arrested by the Peekskill Police Department and charged with second-degree murder for his alleged role into the shooting of 22-year-old Khalil Lyons in Peekskill on July 13.

On July 27, a Peekskill teenager, Demetrius Bogan, 18, was also charged with murder following the three-week investigation.

Police found Lyons on the ground bleeding outside a Park Street business following reports of shots fired in the area. He was transported to New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Deleon has been remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail. His case has been “waived to the Westchester County Grand Jury.”

Deleon and Bogan are both due in court later this month to answer the charges.
